''S' Force' was a British undertaking by the reinforced Tactical Headquarters of Brigadier Dudley W. Clarke’s 'A' Force in the closing stages of the Tunisian campaign to race into Tunis and seize German and Italian intelligence information before these could be destroyed, and at the same time to facilitate the entry of Allied forces into the city (May 1943).
