'Appreciation' was a British pair of special forces operations ('Appreciation I' and 'Appreciation II') to parachute three-man parties of the Special Operations Executive’s Force 136 into the area to the north-west of Bangkok to establish links with the Thai resistance movement (14 March 1944).
