Operation Details
'Bunbury' (ii) was a British unrealised plan for the use of airborne forces to clear the German occupation forces out of Sark (Greater Sark and Little Sark) in the Channel Islands (May 1943).
,The plan was abandoned for a number of reasons including the fact that the forces (both men and aircraft) required were required for the 'Husky' (i) landings on Sicily.
