'Concubine' was a British unrealised plan for an amphibious assault on German-occupied Crete using forces provided by General Sir Henry Maitland Wilson’s Middle East Command (August 1943).

The undertaking’s object was to have been the distraction of German attentions from Italy, where 'Avalanche' was shortly to be launched.
