Cyrill

'Cyrill' was a German and Croat operation against the partisan forces of Josip Broz Tito operating in the in the area of the Glogovnica Canal and Časma river area near Ivanić-Grad in the puppet state of Croatia in Axis-occupied Yugoslavia (2/3 July 1943).

The undertaking’s objective was the destruction of the undetermined partisan groups. The German contribution took the form of elements of Generalleutnant Josef Brauner von Haydringen’s 187th Reserve-Division and one armoured train, while that of the Croats was the headquarters of Pukovnik Stjepan Peričić's 1st Division, 4/1st Mountain Brigade, elements of the 1st Bicycle Battalion, elements of the 5th Railway Security Battalion, elements of the 2nd Artillery Group, 12th Company/2nd Regiment, 11th Ustase Battalion, and one engineer company.

The partisans left the operational area before contact could be made, and thus there were no losses on either side.
