Operation Details
'Docklow' was a British operation by the Special Operations Executive intended to halt the export of pyrites and ores from the Sulitjelma mines in German-occupied Norway by attacking the locomotives on the rail line linking Sandnes and Skjønslua or by crippling the tug boats moving between Skjønslua and Finneid (15 August/11 September 1944).
,The 'Feather II' party (A. Hægstad, T. Bjørnaas and A. Wisløff) left Stockholm on 15 August but was soon detained by the Swedish authorities. On 3 September the men made a second attempt in 'Docklow', but on 11 September were recalled after it became known that the transport of the relevant materials had ended.
