'Drontheim' was the German undertaking by Oberstleutnant Hans Mikosch’s Sturmabteilung 'Mikosch' to expand the bridgehead at Kanne in Belgium taken in 'Eisen' and thereby put itself in the position to come to the support of the 'Granit' force attacking Fort Eben-Emael (10 May 1940).
