Operation Details
'Flannel Foot' was a British pair of naval undertakings by Lieutenant C. Mason’s MGB-318 of the 15th Motor Gun Boat Flotilla (29/30 January and April 1944).
,In 'Flannel Foot I' of 29/30 January, the boat successfully delivered three agents onto an island off the coast of German-occupied western France, and in 'Flannel Foot II' of April 1944 the boat successfully delivered three agents onto an island off the coast of German-occupied western France. The first attempt at 'Flannel Foot II' in March had been unsuccessful as the ebb tide made it impossible to land the agents even though radio contact had been established with the reception party on shore.
