This was a British naval operation in the Bay of Biscay to search for U-boats on passage to and from bases on the west coast of German-occupied France (30 August/2 September 1941).

The destroyers Atherstone and Berkeley departed Portsmouth to hunt for such U-boats, but were unsuccessful and returned to Portsmouth.
