The 'Iltis-Stellung' was the German initial fallback line associated with the disengagement of Generaloberst Karl-Adolf Hollidt’s 6^th Army of Generaloberst Josef Harpe’s Heeresgruppe 'A' in the southern sector of the Eastern Front, about 10 miles (16 km) to the west of the Dniepr river (8/10 March 1944).
