'Nord' (i) was the German original designation for the seizure of Denmark and Norway, and later implemented within 'Weserübung' (14 December 1939/spring 1940).

Planning for this enterprise was specifically ordered by Adolf Hitler on 14 December 1939, and full approval was signalled in a Führerweisung (often numbered Nr 10a) on 1 March 1940.
