'Nord' (ii) was the German codeword for the start of an unrealised airborne operation by Generalleutnant Kurt Student’s 7^th Fliegerdivision in the area of Ghent in northern Belgium within the context of 'Gelb' and 'Sichelschnitt' (11 January/May 1940).
