'Redbreast' was a British operation by the Special Operations Executive to send a radio operator to maintain communications between the UK and the Bremnes and Stord areas of German-occupied Norway, but by the time R. Mathiesen was delivered by sea the German forces in Norway had capitulated (May 1945).
