'Tentative' was a British naval undertaking in which Lieutenant E. Honer’s MGB-318 laid two special navigational sonar buoys off the Ile de Batz and Nevez in support of 'Carpenter III' (25 January/13 February 1943).

Only one of the two sonar buoys was laid successfully.
