Third Enemy Offensive

'Third Enemy Offensive' was the Yugoslav designation for the pair of German-led operations against partisan forces of Josip Broz Tito in eastern Bosnia, Montenegro, Sandzak and Herzegovina (spring 1942).

These operations were the German and Italian 'Trio' (i) and the Italian and Četnik 'Herzegovina'. The Battle of Kozara which took place in north-western Bosnia in the summer of 1942, and known to the Germans as 'Westbosnien', is not considered part of the Third Enemy Offensive.
