'Wildfire' was an Allied unrealised plan for an airborne operation by Lieutenant General Lewis H. Brereton’s Allied 1^st Airborne Army to aid the progress of General Omar N. Bradley’s US 12^th Army Group in its eastward advance to the Rhine river (February/March 1945).
